COPPER KETTLE
This beautiful antique copper kettle sits on my parents' hearth. When it has just been cleaned it has such wonderful warm pink toned lights in it. I painted this at the same time each day so that the light would be the same. I put it on a hand printed blue Indian table cloth as a contrast.
I wanted to show the beauty of copper and the warm, cosy and homely feel it gives a room.
This is a high quality print using pigmented archive inks on acid free archival paper to give a long lasting (85+ years) print which is true to the original oil painting.
I have previously sold a lot of my work from my own exhibitions in France and have now decided to sell via the internet.
I favour an impressionist style with soft natural colours. I like to create a fresh, spontaneous and atmospheric look to my paintings.
This print measures 12" x 12" with 1/2" border to aid framing
Small prints will be posted in a cardboard envelope and larger prints will be rolled and posted in cardboard tubes to ensure they arrive in pristine condition.
